Morning all!! Take a couple minutes from your day and check out the second teaser from The Peace Process video dropping this coming fall. Keep an eye out for Brad in the purple vintage Westbeach pants!!
It's that time of year again. Winter's over, pretty much done with the samples of next winters product from Drop gloves and goggles, Signal boards and outerwear, Westbeach, Celsius and Mega Destroyer. Time to clean out the storage locker and break out the Sabre sunglasses and any other assorted streetwear from Animal, Ocean and Earth, Ezekiel and some vintage Split, NFA and Savier gear and set it up for consumers to spend their hard earned dough.
Details: This Saturday and Sunday April 17/18 at 16 Cook St., in Meaford Ontario (N4L 1G4 if you wanna mapquest it). Rain or shine we'll be here hooking people up with next years gear at wholesale prices.
Mark Goodall
Mark had a sick season this winter. I can't even count how many events he won. Here's a short video he sent me a link to the other day from a trip to Mt. Avila. He's the opening part, think there's some Mike Chmil in there too, not sure though.
How can a kid crack his board and still ride it all season? Local sponsored team riders put their boards through some serious punishment. From assorted rails to hips, half-pipes and booters. Yeah most of them have a "jump board" and a separate one for rails but who wants to take the time to grab a different board when the booter looks nice and there's a line up for your favourite rail line. It all starts with the core. With no finger joints (read; potential weak spots) and a combination of eastern grown Aspen (lightest and most flexible), Poplar (stiffer with greater density) and Maple (stiffest and densest; kinda like the hard rock maple in your skateboard), and alternating grains for greater strength and finally; specifically profiled cores for every length in every model. Watch the video below and become enlightened!!
It even took me awhile to get on facebook to watch this in the first place but without any further delay, here's the footy from The Quicksilver Downlow, thanks to Andrew Wyton and his VegHead productions for putting this together. Vert Agencies rider details below.
In this video you can find Pat Hrivnak (black T over red longsleeve, and boxers in the water), Brady Swartz (light blue, yellow and black stripe WB jkt), Mark Goodall (tie dyed camo looking hoody pulled over helmet), Ben Poechman (WB red hoody with white pants), Brandon Morris (black hoody with rasta trim), Jordin Gillies (red, blue and dark navy striped WB jacket), Jesse Loucks (black jacket, white T, blue Signal base in the water!!), Sam Denena (bright neon orange WB jacket and on the podium in a hoody at the end).
How did Pat H. not win the overall?? Hmmmmmm.......the mystery continues!!
